Safer Streets. Smarter Fleets. Zero Compromise.
Pace AI Tech is an intelligent vehicle safety system built to protect what matters most — your drivers, your vehicles and the vulnerable road users around them. Powered by advanced AI and engineered for full compliance with urban safety standards, it gives you the confidence to operate in even the most demanding environments, while supporting full integration with your fleet safety systems. and vehicle telematics solutions.
See More. Know More. Drive Safer.
Pace AI Tech does more than just detect obstacles — it understands them. Unlike standard systems that rely on basic object detection, Pace AI Tech identifies the size, movement and behaviour of objects around your vehicle — recognising pedestrians, cyclists, and other vulnerable road users with accuracy.
It continuously monitors the front and nearside of your vehicle, with internal and external alerts triggered when risk is detected. Drivers gain valuable seconds to react — reducing the chance of collisions and improving road safety for everyone.
Originally developed to meet the stringent standards of London’s Direct Vision Standard (DVS), Pace AI Tech now brings the same level of intelligent safety to fleets across the UK. With similar safety regulations predicted to be adopted in cities like Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester and Bristol, Pace AI Tech helps you stay compliant today — and prepared for tomorrow. It adds a critical visual layer to your fleet telematics systems and vehicle telematics data — giving you deeper insight into driver behaviour and safety performance.
Designed and built specifically for us, Pace AI Tech (DVS) is an unrivalled human detection system for use in light and heavy commercial vehicles. Originally developed to meet Transport for London’s Direct Vision Standard (DVS) Progressive Safe System (PSS) requirements, Pace AI Tech offers unrivalled accuracy, reliability, and peace of mind — keeping your fleet compliant and road users protected.
We never use sub-contractors — every installation is carried out by our own Pace-employed engineers, trained to the highest standards and equipped with the latest tools and technology. All work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with — or exceeding — all relevant industry regulations. Our nationwide team can be deployed anywhere across the UK.
Pace AI Tech delivers two-point monitoring of vehicle surroundings — covering the nearside and front. It gives operators a powerful way to detect vulnerable road users and enhance safety, offering the highest level of protection in high-risk or crowded urban environments.
Because of its unique design and capability, Pace-Ai-Tech offers three aspect monitoring of humans and VRUs (Vulnerable Road Users). This is particularly important for operators who want to ensure highest level of safety around operating vehicles especially in crowded areas.
As well as full compatibility with standard UK right-hand drive vehicles, Pace AI Tech is purpose-built to support left-hand drive fleets. The system monitors and alerts for potential hazards on the offside — essential for DVS PSS compliance, where a right-turn warning is required on LHD vehicles operating in the UK.
From October 2024, all goods vehicles over 12 tonnes operating within the M25 must meet a minimum 3-star rating or be fitted with a Progressive Safe System (PSS). Pace AI Tech is fully compliant with Transport for London’s DVS requirements and can be installed on any HGV falling below the 3-star threshold — ensuring your fleet stays on the road, safely and legally.
Designed with flexibility in mind, Pace AI Tech operates seamlessly on both 12v and 24v electrical systems. That means it’s suitable for everything from light commercial vans to heavy-duty trucks — giving you consistent, high-level protection across your entire fleet.
Quality matters — especially when safety is on the line. Pace AI Tech is equipped with AHD (Analog High Definition) output, enabling a real-time, high-resolution video feed. This gives drivers a clearer, more detailed view of their surroundings, improving awareness and reducing blind spot risk.
Pace AI Tech is fully configurable to your fleet and operational needs, with bespoke system setups that adapt seamlessly to urban, remote, or nationwide operations — delivering the safety, insight, and performance your business demands through integrated fleet telematics and camera-based risk detection.
Our systems are developed to meet the unique demands of sectors including logistics, public transport, emergency response, healthcare, mobile retail, and delivery. Every installation follows strict ISO9001-certified processes and manufacturer guidelines, ensuring long-lasting reliability, performance and compliance. From in-vehicle experience to ongoing support, we’re committed to delivering exceptional quality — with safety, service and user satisfaction at the core.
The system delivers real-time in-cab audio and visual alerts to keep drivers aware of immediate risks. At the same time, external audio alarms warn nearby vulnerable road users (VRUs) that they’re detected in danger zones around the vehicle — increasing safety for everyone in busy or complex environments.
Using advanced AI, object profiling, and real-time motion analysis, the system can tell the difference between inanimate objects (like street furniture or barriers) and human activity. It recognises distinct movement patterns such as walking, cycling, or stepping into a blind spot — helping to reduce false alerts and focus on real threats.
Yes. Pace AI Tech meets the requirements of Transport for London’s Direct Vision Standard (DVS) Progressive Safe System (PSS), making it suitable for vehicles below 3 stars operating within the M25 from October 2024. It also supports upcoming safety schemes expected in other cities like Manchester and Birmingham — helping you stay ahead of future compliance.
It does. Pace AI Tech works seamlessly with both RHD and LHD vehicles. For left-hand drive fleets, it includes essential offside detection and right-turn alerts — critical features for DVS compliance in the UK.
The system is compatible with both 12v and 24v setups, making it suitable for everything from light commercial vehicles and vans to large HGVs. Whether you’re managing a small urban fleet or a nationwide operation, the system scales with your needs.
Yes. The system watches the left side and front blind spots. It spots people moving nearby and gives instant warnings to the driver and others around. This helps everyone stay aware in busy or risky areas.
Pace AI Tech includes AHD (Analogue High Definition) video output for real-time visibility via in-cab monitors. Drivers benefit from a clear, high-resolution view around the vehicle, supporting safer manoeuvres and reducing the chance of incidents.

No. The system is engineered to draw minimal power and is installed in a way that avoids interfering with your vehicle’s electrical components — protecting both battery life and performance.
Yes. You can adjust the system’s sensitivity levels and alert settings to suit your operating environment. For example, alerts automatically disable at higher speeds — such as on motorways — to prevent unnecessary warnings from passing vehicles. This ensures the system stays focused where it’s needed most, like in congested or low-speed areas.
Yes. The system logs alert events which can be accessed for audits, insurance documentation, or driver coaching. Data can also be exported or integrated into your existing fleet management tools, depending on your setup.
